Fred provides administrative direction for all aspects of University Residences and Dining Services, including residential management, social and educational programming, facilities improvements, leases and assignments, fiscal management, building services, campus dining services, judicial matters, summer conferences and orientation housing, and learning communities. He came to Ohio State in February 2009, with more than 30 years of experience in residential life and student services at several institutions, including the College of William and Mary and Penn State University. Most recently, he was senior director of student services at the University of British Columbia.

Zia Ahmed

Zia provides oversight and general direction for University Residences and Dining Services' food service operations, including traditional cafeterias, Ohio Union dining services, café and cart operations, catering, and food service at regional campuses and two child care centers. He is responsible for long-range planning, fiscal management, and staff recruitment and management. He holds a master's degree from the University of Akron, and joined the Ohio State staff in September 2010, having previously served 16 years at the University of Akron, most recently as director of dining services and administration.

Toni is responsible for housing contracts, leases, billing, and assignments for the Columbus and the regional campuses. She oversees summer conference housing and University Residences and Dining Services business services. She received a B.A. in Spanish from Hiram College and an M.A. in higher education administration from Ohio State. She has been at Ohio State with Student Life since 1980.

Cheryl Lyons

Cheryl supervises a team of professional, graduate and undergraduate staff who coordinate the residential education experience of the approximately 10,000 students who live on the Columbus and three regional campuses. She received a B.A. in sociology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and an M.S. in college student personnel services from Miami University. Before coming to Ohio State, Cheryl was coordinator of student development at California Polytechnic State University. She has worked for Ohio State in University Residences and Dining Services since 1997.
