Bill serves as chief financial and resource management officer for Student Life. He manages central Student Life support units: Administrative Services, Facilities Management and Logistics, Fiscal Support Services, Human Resources, and Information Technology. He holds a B.S. and an M.A. in psychology from Ohio State. He has worked for the University for 31 years, 27 in Student Life.

Val oversees Information Technology and BuckID for the Office of Student Life. Information Technology provides services such as web and application development, IT project and portfolio management, ResNet, and the IT Support Center and IT infrastructure. She earned a B.F.A. in art history and an M.A. in student personnel administration, both from Ohio State.

Daniel L. Allen

Dan oversees financial reporting, internal controls, financial transaction processing, budget coordination, and business continuity, and coordinates Student Life fiscal operations with University centralized operations. He holds a B.S. in accounting and computer management and an M.B.A. from Franklin University, and a B.S. in business administration from Bowling Green State University. Prior to beginning work at Ohio State in 1990, Dan worked in banking, computer programming and systems analysis, and accounting management, auditing, and computer consulting. He retired last year as a colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve, and except for a 16-month military deployment to Iraq, Dan has worked in Student Life for the last eight years.

Doug coordinates strategic planning for the Office of Student Life and assists with program reviews for individual departments. He oversees student health insurance and manages projects for Student Life central administration. He received both a B.A. and M.A. in music theory from Ohio State. He has worked in Student Life at Ohio State for 21 years.
