Molly Ranz Calhoun

Molly leads a team that supports Student Life departments in the fields of risk and emergency management (risk assessment, crisis management and response, fire safety, security, and access), facility operations (maintenance and painting, building systems, building automation, laundry, warehousing, moving and housekeeping support), energy management and sustainability, planning and design. Molly holds a bachelor's degree in industrial design from Ohio State and has worked in Student Life since she was hired as a student employee in 1985. She has worked as a full time employee with the Office of Student Life since 1986.

Daren T. Lehman

Daren supervises the teams responsible for building maintenance, elevator operations, the Service 2 Facilities 24-hour service center, and central housekeeping and custodial operations. He has been with Student Life since 2001 and studied business management at Marietta College and Eastern Kentucky University.

Patrick Maughan

Patrick provides central management and leadership for risk assessment and emergency preparedness for Student Life. He oversees safety, security, alarms, CCTV, and fire prevention efforts. He is a liaison with OSU Public Safety and other University offices on issues of enterprise risk and emergency preparedness. Patrick has a B.S. in psychology from Ohio State and has completed graduate courses in city and regional planning. He has worked for the University in safety and security areas for more than 30 years, and he joined Student Life in 2008.

Stephen Schick

Steve provides leadership and direction for the Student Life Facilities Management and Logistics teams that handle planning and assessment for capital projects, such as building construction and renovation. He also supervises the space and asset management, moving and warehouse, and interior design staffs, and manages lease agreements and memoranda of understanding. He serves as a liaison with the facilities and design staff of the university's Facilities Operations and Development department. Steve has worked for Ohio State for more than 28 years, primarily in facilities maintenance, repair, replacement and construction. He attended Ohio State and is a licensed HVAC/refrigeration contractor.

Willie J. Young

Willie supervises the team that assists students, faculty, and staff in finding housing off campus, helps to integrate students into the off-campus community, provides educational information and connections to community resources, and strives to create a safer community. Willie received a B.S. in education and an M.A. in college student personnel from Bowling Green State University. He has been at Ohio State since 1990 and in the student life profession since 1973.
