The second event in our quarterly series involves 2 parts: a study night and stress-management. We will provide an environment where students can study, learn new habits, and get help on topics they could be struggling with. We would like to provide a place where students can learn more about what options are available to them after graduation. We will be giving handouts from professional schools in OSU and a discussion panel for those interested in entering a health profession. To try to help with stress, we will give away school supplies that aid in organization and prioritizing. Winter is the time that 2nd-year Optometry students learn clinical techniques that they'll use for the rest of their careers. Older students will give advice to the students on improving their technique. Undergrads who are interested in optometry will have the opportunity to attempt the clinical techniques so that they may get a better idea if optometry is a suitable career choice for them.
